Description

Built in 2011 by Tecnomar — the Italian shipyard renowned for creating exceptional interior volume within compact superyacht platforms — AURORA yacht is a 30.6-metre luxury charter yacht offering a modern and well-equipped base for exploring the Greek Islands and the wider Eastern Mediterranean.

Accommodation: 5 Staterooms for 12 Guests

AURORA yacht accommodates 12 guests in five en-suite staterooms: a full-beam master suite on the lower deck, two double cabins, and two twin cabins that convert to doubles and each include extra Pullman berths — ideal for families travelling with children. All cabins are accessed through a central staircase and share the same modern, light-filled aesthetic — grey and dark tones contrasted with clean white surfaces and red accents — that runs throughout the interior.

The main deck hosts a bright, open-plan salon and dining area with panoramic full-length windows running fore to aft, flooding the interior with natural light and keeping the sea visually present from any angle indoors. The wide aft deck connects directly to the swim platform, maintaining an easy indoor-outdoor flow that suits the pace of island cruising.

Onboard Amenities & Entertainment

AURORA’s outdoor spaces are generous for her size. The foredeck jacuzzi, surrounded by sunbathing cushions and bench seating, is positioned to make the most of the views ahead of the yacht at anchor. The flybridge offers a large alfresco dining area with a barbecue, a solarium zone, and optional sunscreen cover — a versatile upper deck that works across long sun-filled days and cooler evenings equally well.

A noteworthy detail: the aft dining table on the flybridge lowers to convert into a wide sunbathing area, giving the crew flexibility to shift the deck function during the day. AURORA’s twin CAT diesel engines deliver a top speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots, making her fast enough to cover the island distances of the Cyclades or Dodecanese without losing a full morning to the passage.

Water Toys & Tenders aboard Aurora Yacht

The AURORA yacht carries a practical selection of water toys well-matched to the clear waters of the Aegean. The SeaDoo GTR 230hp jet ski is the standout piece, offering guests speed and freedom to explore coves and coastlines independently. Two sets of waterskis, a wakeboard, a 3-person banana, an inflatable kayak, a SUP paddleboard, and full snorkelling gear cover every level of activity from relaxed to high-energy.

The primary tender — a Zodiac 4m with Yamaha 60HP — handles all shore transfers and restaurant runs with ease, connecting guests to the island towns and hidden beaches that make Greek chartering so rewarding day after day.

Charter Aurora Yacht: Destinations & Sample Itinerary

AURORA yacht is ideally suited to the Greek Islands, where her speed, volume, and foredeck jacuzzi combine well with the nature of Aegean chartering — short passages, clear water, and days that move between ancient sites, whitewashed villages, and quiet coves.

A natural starting point is Athens, from where AURORA heads south toward the Saronic Islands — Hydra, Spetses, Poros — before opening up into the Cyclades. The most requested sequence combines Mykonos and its northern beaches with Delos — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important archaeological sites in the Aegean.

Moving south, Santorini and Folegandros complete the Cyclades arc before the route swings east toward Rhodes and the Dodecanese. AURORA’s top speed means the longer inter-island passages stay manageable within a charter day, leaving the afternoon free for swimming and exploring ashore.
