LAMIMA, the world’s largest wooden sailing yacht, is a 65-meter traditional Phinisi-style yacht, originally launched in 2014. After an extensive refit in 2024, she continues to provide unrivaled luxury and comfort. The yacht was originally custom-built using traditional methods by skilled local boatbuilders on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, with design by the renowned Marcelo Penna. LAMIMA combines modern elegance with the classic style of a traditional sailing yacht to create the ultimate luxury charter experience.

LAMIMA accommodates up to 14 guests in seven spacious and elegantly appointed cabins. The yacht offers a large dining table for 14 guests, an expansive lounge, and a sophisticated bar. The outdoor living areas feature a large al fresco dining and lounge space that becomes the social heart of the yacht. For those seeking relaxation, LAMIMA’s dedicated spa area with qualified Pijat masseuses offers a range of soothing treatments, ensuring an indulgent retreat at sea.

This amazing super sailing yacht will be available in summer from April to October in Lesser Sunda Marine Parks, Indonesia and in winter will be available from November to April in West Papua Marine Parks, Indonesia.

Accommodation & Deck Areas

LAMIMA can comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 spacious and elegant cabins, including one master suite, four double twins and two twin suites. Each cabin embodies the overarching theme of tranquility, infused with Oriental-style furnishings that are in-keeping with the yacht’s charter destinations. Internet service is available in every cabin as well as HD TV, iPod docking stations, and movie library – ideal for those for those guests who seek a little privacy. Communal areas include a sophisticated yet relaxed bar and lounge with a vast dining table for 14, while the adjacent expansive al fresco dining and lounge area is the social heart of the yacht. The designated relaxation quarter at the back of the yacht includes a dedicated spa area with qualified Pijat masseuses offering a range of soothing treatments.

LAMIMA is powered by a single MAN engine, enabling her to cruise effortlessly at a comfortable 8 knots. With a maximum speed of 10 knots and an impressive range of up to 4,500 nautical miles, she ensures smooth and efficient long-distance travel across exotic destinations. Perfectly suited for exploring remote areas, LAMIMA combines power with fuel efficiency, offering you the ultimate freedom on the open sea.
