Yacht charter prices can vary significantly depending on several key factors, including length, capacity, year of build or refit, shipyard, design, and of course, the level of luxury and onboard service.
As a general guideline, charter yachts in the Mediterranean may start from approximately €20,000–€40,000 per week for catamarans or motor yachts between 15 and 20 metres, ideal for families or small groups. Luxury yachts between 25 and 35 metres typically range from €40,000 to €150,000 per week, while superyachts over 40 metres can easily exceed €150,000–€400,000 per week, depending on exclusivity and services offered.
Many yachts are also available for day charters, particularly in destinations such as Ibiza, Mallorca or the French Riviera, with daily rates ranging from €3,000 to over €25,000, depending on the type of yacht.
It is important to note that the charter fee is not the only cost. An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance)—usually between 30% and 35% of the base price—is added to cover operational expenses such as fuel, berthing, food and beverages during the charter. In addition, VAT applies, with the percentage depending on the cruising area and current regulations.
In summary, yacht charter is a fully customisable experience, offering options to suit different budgets and expectations, all with the aim of providing a unique and exclusive way to explore the Mediterranean.
Choosing a luxury charter yacht for your holidays means embracing a truly exclusive way of travelling. One of its greatest advantages is the privacy and comfort it offers, allowing you to enjoy a fully personalised space, far from crowds and at your own pace.
On board, a professional crew will take care of every detail, enabling you to relax completely and focus solely on enjoying the sea and each destination. A charter yacht also gives you the freedom to discover multiple locations in a single trip, with access to hidden coves and secluded spots unreachable by land.
Life on board goes far beyond sailing: water sports, snorkelling, diving, fishing or simply relaxing in the sun on deck are all part of the experience.
Ultimately, chartering a yacht is the ideal choice for those seeking memorable holidays, where luxury, comfort and exclusivity come together with the freedom to explore the sea on your own terms.
Chartering a yacht is the most luxurious way to explore paradisiacal coastlines and exotic destinations, from the Mediterranean (Balearic Islands, Italy, Greece…) to remote locations such as the Maldives, Thailand, or Indonesia. It gives you complete freedom to create your own itinerary. Whether for a romantic getaway, a family holiday, or a trip with friends, a yacht charter offers privacy, comfort, and personalised experiences, with a professional crew taking care of everything—from gourmet dining to water activities—ensuring an unforgettable journey.
Finding the ideal yacht involves defining your preferred size, budget, amenities, and type of sailing. Most importantly, it requires the guidance of a professional and experienced team. This process ensures you select the yacht that best meets your needs and expectations, delivering a tailored experience without surprises.
High season, generally during the summer in the Mediterranean, offers warm weather and sunny days but comes with higher prices and greater demand. Low season provides more tranquility, more accessible pricing, and flexible availability, although some activities or services may not be available. The choice depends on your preferences and budget. Certain destinations, such as the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Thailand, or Indonesia, offer excellent conditions year-round.
Guests can enjoy a wide range of water sports, such as jet skiing, seabobs, paddleboarding, and snorkeling. Additional options include excursions to exclusive coves and beaches, gourmet dining, spa and wellness services, family entertainment, and private celebrations—all tailored to guests’ preferences to create a unique, personalised charter experience.
The APA is an advance deposit covering the yacht’s variable operational expenses during the charter. Managed by the captain and settled at the end of the trip, it ensures transparency and smooth execution of the charter.
The APA typically covers fuel, food and beverages on board, port fees, consumables, and other operational expenses necessary for the trip. It does not include crew gratuities, personal expenses onshore, flights, transfers, specially requested premium foods, or external services outside the usual yacht operations.
Crew gratuities are discretionary and are given at the end of the charter based on client satisfaction. Any remaining APA balance at the end of the trip is refunded to the charterer with an itemised breakdown of expenses. If the APA is fully used, an additional deposit may be requested to ensure the charter runs smoothly.
