Perfect Itinerary for the Aeolian Islands and Sicily

Day 01

Capo d’Orlando - Vulcano

We start with a delicious welcome cocktail offered by the captain and set sail for Vulcano, an island with an active volcano, black sand beaches, and thermal waters. We visit some beaches and the Arco della Giampola. We have lunch at Il Cappero, created by Chef Giuseppe Biuso, with one Michelin star and unparalleled views of all the Aeolians. We explore the wonderful natural pool of Venus, which can only be accessed by sea: a submerged crater where the water is only two meters deep. Near it, we have dinner on board under the stars.

Day 02

Vulcano - Panarea

We wake up to a prepared breakfast and head to Panarea. Before arriving, we stop at Lisca Bianca, a volcanic islet with still bubbling waters that leaves us astonished as we dive and feel real volcanic activity. Once in Panarea, we head to Caletta dei Zimmari, a protected bay with a magical atmosphere. We have lunch at the restaurant with the same name, specializing in pasta. We continue to enjoy wild and hidden beaches. We have dinner at Cusiritati, founded by the Sulfaro family. Then, we have a cocktail at the famous Raya hotspot.

Day 03

Panarea - Stromboli

We have breakfast on board and sail to this unique island with its iconic active volcano. We visit Forgia Vecchia beach, with black sand and considered the most beautiful on the island; it’s difficult to access if not by boat. We have lunch at Punta Lena restaurant, offering high Mediterranean cuisine, Sicilian wines, and magical views of Strombolicchio islet. In the afternoon, we enjoy the island’s lush vegetation. At sunset, we anchor in a privileged position facing the Sciara del Fuoco to witness the spectacular night eruptions. We have dinner on board amid such magnificent natural spectacle.

Day 04

Stromboli - Salina

We have a rich breakfast on board and travel to the greenest island in the Aeolians, highly renowned for its white and sweet Malvasia wines and its autumn fruits. We visit the natural stone arch Il Perciatino and continue to Spiaggia di Pollara. We explore the streets of Malfa and have lunch at Signus with Chef Martina Caruso in charge, with her own garden, vineyard, and family winery. We continue to Santa Marina. We go diving in Rinella and discover its seabeds with volcanic activity. We have dinner on board with a gourmet menu prepared by our chef.

Day 05

Salina - Filicudi

We start the day with a good breakfast and head towards Filicudi, a gem of the Aeolian Islands away from tourist circuits. We see the natural trails winding through cliffs and discover ancient caves like Bue Marino or rock formations like La Canna, an immense basalt cliff over 70 meters high. We immerse ourselves in crystal-clear waters like those of Spiaggia della Pecorini. We have lunch at La Sirena, a genuine terrace in the small port of Pecorini, reminiscent of bygone times. We stroll through Filicudi Porto and watch the sunset from the lighthouse. We have candlelit dinner on the boat.

Day 06

Filicudi - Lipari

We enjoy a tasty breakfast on board and set sail for Lipari. We visit Praia di Vinci, only accessible from the sea, and the turquoise Forbice beach, among others. We have lunch at L’Anfora and then walk through the picturesque town of Lipari, known for its outstanding medieval architecture, its castle, and its labyrinthine alleys. We have Sicilian wine or granita in Piazza Marina Corto, do some shopping. We have dinner at Filippino, a traditional and iconic island restaurant frequented by both visitors and locals.

Lipari - Capo d'Orlando

We have breakfast and start the return trip to Capo d’Orlando, a village with a beautiful lighthouse and calm sea fantastic for swimming. If we have little time, we head to the vicinity of Punta Marinello to relax on its beautiful beach. This small peninsula belongs to the Marinello Lakes nature reserve, which has caves and lakes. If we still have days left, we extend our yacht trip through the Aeolian Islands to explore northern Sicily, with unforgettable places like Taormina, Cefalù, or Palermo.
