In this interview, he shares his favorite spots, hidden coves, and what makes life on board truly unforgettable.
For those who haven’t discovered her yet, BEYOND is a 26-meter masterpiece by the prestigious Italian shipyard Pershing, built in 2019. Crafted from carbon fiber, this next-generation superyacht reaches up to 48 knots—offering cutting-edge design, performance, and uncompromising luxury.

1 | When did your passion for sailing begin, and what’s your professional background?
My passion started at a very young age, thanks to my family, who were always connected to the sea. I was born in Ibiza, grew up in San Antonio, and started working on boats when I was 16. The sea has always been my natural environment. In recent years, I’ve had the opportunity to captain large yachts like a Canados 90’, a Maiora 105’, and a Mangusta 90’. These experiences helped me grow professionally and deepen my expertise in luxury yachting.
2 | How well do you know the Balearic Islands?
Besides being born here and working in the nautical industry for nearly 10 years, I’ve done countless trips between Ibiza and Formentera, which has allowed me to get to know the coastline better than most. I know where to find the best coves, how to avoid the crowds, and how to create truly surprising routes.

3 | What kind of experience do you want to offer aboard BEYOND this season?
I want every guest to enjoy a tailor-made experience. Whether it’s pure relaxation, adventure, fine dining, or fun—each charter should be unique and memorable.
4 | Do you have a favorite cove or hidden spot you often recommend?
Yes, I really like peaceful, lesser-known places. In Ibiza, I recommend Sa Figuera Borda, a small cove between Cala Conta and Cala Codolar. They’re quiet, full of charm, and perfect for anchoring and enjoying the surroundings.
5 | Which restaurants or beach clubs do you think are a must on a good charter?
I always adapt to each client’s tastes, but the Cala Jondal area is very popular. It offers excellent gastronomy and a sophisticated atmosphere.
6 | What would you highlight about BEYOND?
She’s in excellent condition and has a sleek, striking design. Everything on board is organized to make guests feel comfortable in every space.
7 | What do you think about Marina Ibiza as a homeport?
Marina Ibiza has a strategic location and offers top-tier services. It’s a high-end area with exclusive shops and a great atmosphere for guests. From a logistical standpoint, it’s ideal for planning any Balearic itinerary.
8 | What do you think is essential for a successful charter?
A good atmosphere on board. We spend many hours together, and teamwork is essential. When the crew works well together, clients feel it—and that’s what turns a good charter into an unforgettable one.
