CALYPSO I is a 36-metre Mulder 118 megayacht, part of the Mulder Thirty-Six series from the Dutch shipyard Mulder, delivered in 2019. Her naval architecture is by Van Oossanen and her exterior and interior styling is the work of Caydon Reeves and John Vickers. Chic deck areas and a luxe beach club-style interior make CALYPSO I one of the best yachts in her class and ideal for any luxury charter vacation.
CALYPSO I has her port base in the West Mediterranean and she is available for charter during the summer, but also in winter, in the waters of the Mediterranean, visiting the most beautiful places: South of France, Sardinia and Corsica, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Croatia.
CALYPSO I can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 4 spacious staterooms, including a full-beam Master Suite, a Double stateroom and two Twin convertibles to Double, both featuring an additional Pullman Berth, each offering excellent views, as well as top audio-visual entertainment systems. The gentle curves of the bed and furniture beautifully echo the profile of the ceiling and skylight in the master suite. The room is super-spacious and harmonious in its design and features large panoramic windows along with its own desk space. Leading on to a highly distinctive ensuite, with two angular wash basins and wooden panelling all around, the space is simply stunning. The VIP suite is as equally enticing with boutique hotel style furnishings in the same restful tones. It features the most beautiful of elegant fittings throughout from the bathroom sanitary ware through to the bedroom fabrics and furniture. Out on the decks, CALYPSO I has an impressive spacious sundeck featuring an illuminated seven-capacity jacuzzi, a convenient bar, together with numerous sun pads and sun loungers for blissful relaxation. An alfresco dining area on the aft deck, meanwhile, benefitting from breathtaking 360-degree views and shaded cover, if needed, makes every meal a special occasion. Guests can also make use of the lower deck beach club, allowing them to easily disembark into the water for any water sports activities.
Built with Aluminium hull and superstructure this semi-custom ThirtySix fast displacement yacht also features ¨at anchor stabilisers¨ which work at zero speed, increasing onboard comfort at anchor and on rough waters. CALYPSO I has a top speed of 17 knots and cruises at 15 knots, but her fast-displacement hull provides economic and comfortable cruising at any speed.
Besides being equipped with state of the art leisure and entertainment facilities such as an on-deck Jacuzzi, a beach club, audio-visual equipment and many more, CALYPSO I also features a ¨dolphin camera¨ which can stream any guest appearance by dolphins live to the TV in the salon.
