MARIU is a 49.90-metre megayacht custom built by Codecasa in 2003 and last refitted in 2016. Designed and built for the iconic fashion designer Giorgio Armani and named after his mother, MARIU´s interior is the epitome of fashion. Striking and contemporary, she showcases cool and modern Italian design: leather, richly grained woods, and reflective aluminium ceilings are used to great effect in the yacht´s minimalist layout.

ACCOMMODATION & DECK AREAS
MARIU can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 exquisitely designed staterooms, including a Master Suite, three VIP suites and two Double staterooms with Pullman beds, all en suite. MARIU’s megayacht interior décor is refined and elegant, boasting a minimalistic atmosphere and is the work of Giorgio Armani. Pale oak panels, fine teak floors, bespoke aluminium ceilings and supple leather furnishings combined, create a tailored yet timeless vibe. The main deck offers a comfortable salon and optional dining area, with a generous lounge, plush seating and coffee table. Forward of the salon is the full-beam master suite, complete with king-size bed, his and hers facilities and Jacuzzi tub. A double stateroom is available on the main deck, while below decks are 4 further luxurious guest cabins. The sky lounge is perfectly suited for casual or formal entertaining and is directly accessed from the salon, by a staircase. The sky lounge features plenty of seating, coffee table and state of the art entertainment systems. Natural light greets both decks with ease, thanks to panoramic windows. Ensuring guests optimum comfort, charter yacht MARIU offers a built-in elevator, reaching all 4 decks.
On deck, living is well-appointed throughout all 3 exterior levels. The main deck features a large teak table and comfortable seating, with overhead shade and direct access to the main salon. For the water enthusiasts, an extended swim platform and sea toys garage is the ideal activity centre, to enjoy the abundance of water toys on offer, even boasting an RYA training facility. On the upper deck, adjacent to the sky lounge is an alfresco dining table for up to 12 guests, plus a full-beam aft seating area, creating the perfect entertaining venue. The upper deck wraps around the yacht 360° leading to a circular seating area with table on the bow, perfect for canapés and light lunches.
PERFORMANCE
Powered by 2 x CAT 2260hp engines, MARIU cruises at 15 knots and can reach a maximum speed of 17.5 knots. M/Y MARIU features both at anchor and underway stabilizers that reduce the roll motion and ensure a smooth cruise and anchoring.
EQUIPMENT
MARIU features an elevator that allows easy access through the yacht and an oversized sundeck which sets her apart from other luxury yachts for charter. The sundeck offers a jacuzzi, sunbathing, socializing spaces and optional shading. A distinctive feature onboard MARIU is her 200-bottle wine cellar.
TENDER & TOYS
MARIU is now an RYA training establishment for personal watercraft and features the latest gadgets for her guests to make the most of the water sports. Tenders, jet skis, seabobs, flyboards and many more are available onboard for those keen for some adrenaline. As such, a temporary license to drive jet skis and wave runners can be awarded to guests aboard MARIU, valid for the duration of their stay aboard. Guests between the age of 12 to 16 can also receive the certificate, but they need to be accompanied by a licensed adult aboard the jet ski.
