Description
Svetlana is a steel ice-class motor yacht built for extended exploration in remote and icy regions. Currently under construction, she is scheduled for delivery in Q1 2027 by AvA Yachts.
Svetlana is designed and built to Ice Class B1+, offering significantly greater structural reinforcement than standard ice-classed yachts. Designed for safe navigation in first-year ice up to ~0.8 m thick, it allows for extended cruising in polar and sub-Arctic regions. Positioned just below full icebreaker classification, B1+ ensures superior performance and reliability in challenging ice conditions—making it ideal for owners seeking high-latitude adventure with enhanced safety and capability.
Equipped with twin 750 HP engines and a 30,000-liter fuel capacity, Svetlana has a range of approximately 4500 nautical miles at 9 knots. This allows for long-distance cruising without reliance on frequent refueling stops. She also offers the option of silent cruising, minimizing engine noise and vibration, which enhances the onboard experience.
Svetlana accommodates 8 guests across a spacious layout that includes a master suite and three guest cabins, along with two crew cabins. With a 7.2-meter beam, the yacht offers wide interior volumes, high ceilings, and unobstructed views through rectangular saloon windows. Down below, portholes provide natural light and maintain a seamanlike design appropriate for a vessel of her capabilities.
The interior of Svetlana emphasizes functional design. Every detail—from lighting to layout—serves a practical purpose. Her aesthetic is understated, with a classic design paired with modern elements that support comfort during long journeys. Svetlana is designed to provide reliability, range, and livability for serious explorers.
