DEEP BLUE II is a 44-metre megayacht custom-built by the Dutch shipyard Oceanco in 1996 and last refitted in 2017. Her sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of A Group. ACCOMMODATION & DECK AREAS
DEEP BLUE II can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests overnight in 4 sumptuous staterooms, including a Master Suite, a VIP Suite, a Double and a Twin stateroom. The generously-sized Master Suite is located on the main deck and finished in a chic, neutral style with accent pieces in vibrant red. It features a private study and an ensuite bathroom.
On the lower deck, an elegant full-beam VIP stateroom can be conveniently converted into a 5th stateroom for additional guests. The remaining guests´ accommodations are also located on the lower deck and include a double and a twin stateroom, each with own ensuite facilities. All staterooms are equipped with satellite TV, WIFI access and music system. Sophisticated and modern, DEEP BLUE II’s Paolo Rossi interior has the feel of a city penthouse. Contemporary artwork creates focal points throughout the living space while large windows flood the interior with natural light. The main salon features a comfortable lounge area, finished in light wood panelling with black and cream furnishings. Separated from the salon by a TV that pops up out of the cabinetry, DEEP BLUE II has an elegant formal dining area for 8 with an adjoining pantry. The dining area is also linked to the galley with a video camera ensuring impeccable service by the crew during meals.
On the upper deck, the intimate skylounge has a bar plus a DJ station for onboard socialising and entertaining. DEEP BLUE II’s extensive decks offer guests a wide choice of outdoor lounge and dining areas, including an alfresco table on the sheltered aft deck. When it comes to the day’s activities, guests can take a dip in the Jacuzzi or simply relax on the sun pads. Throughout the three decks, the design and facilities of DEEP BLUE II are extremely well geared to life on board, both for guests and her long-standing crew of nine.
PERFORMANCE
Built with Aluminium hull and superstructure and powered by two MTU engines of 2250hp each, DEEP BLUE II has a cruising speed of 16 knots and can reach a maximum speed of 19 knots and a range of 3.900 nautical miles from her fuel tanks. DEEP BLUE II is the perfect balance of luxury and performance.
