THALIMA is a 34-meter-long sailing yacht launched in 2010 by Southern Wind Shipyard in Cape Town, South Africa as the first yacht in a new breed of luxury performance maxis. With interiors by Nauta Yachts, she features clean lines throughout and bright, contemporary living spaces, blending relaxing areas with high performance.
DESTINATIONS
THALIMA has her base port in Barcelona and she is available for charter in the West Mediterranean. Corsica and Sardinia are considered the jewels of the Mediterranean. Crystal waters, rocky or sandy beaches, small inlets for diving, unspoiled charm and simplicity, picturesque marinas and spectacular traditional colour. Combination of rich culture, beautiful islands with charming small towns built in almost unreachable bays or coves barely touched by man's influence while elsewhere seaside forts and clifftop castles hoard magnificent galleries, boutiques, museums and restaurants within.
ACCOMMODATION & DECK AREAS
THALIMA´s layout can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 elegant staterooms, including a Master Suite, one VIP stateroom and two Twin with Pullman beds. The Master Suite features a study area, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with LED light therapy and bathtub. The guest areas feature three generous staterooms. Two twin staterooms, each with separate individual berths, are located aft of the saloon on either side while the VIP stateroom lies forward, on the port side and features a king-size walk-around bed and LED light therapy in the shower. The galley is designed and equipped to satisfy the most discerning professional chefs and offers significant storage for extended navigation away from harbours.
THALIMA´s interior layout features a clear separation between the crew and guest areas for mutual privacy and relaxation. The social heart of THALIMA is the full-beam salon: ample, well-lit and perfectly equipped to make her guests feel like home. A lounge area lays slightly below the salon giving the impression of a big open space; it is served by an Apple TV Entertainment. Her interior styling, typical of Nauta Design’s flair for innovative solutions, provides clean lines and luminous spaces that are also warm and welcoming. The deck plan has been designed for easy sailing and comfort both for crew and guests. On the outdoor, the alfresco dining area with bimini features two extendable teak-finished tables with plenty of seating and opens up into an ample sunbathing area that creates a comfortable lounging space. THALIMA has also been designed for high sailing performance, combining relaxing cruising with exciting sailing.
